I was born in Alabama, My parents moved to Columbus when I was a baby. I grew up in Oakland Park on the south side, attending public schools and graduating from Baker High School. I worked at various labor jobs throughout junior high, high school, college, and law school. Graduating from what was then Columbus College with a degree in Criminal justice and then Atlanta Law School with what I thought was the somewhat overly presumptuous degree of Juris Doctorate.

With three other students after a full day at our jobs, we would drive to downtown Atlanta from Columbus. Two to three nights per week for three years taking classes taught by real practicing attorneys and sitting judges. I have also spent a stint in prison as a Senior Mental Health Counselor and before that working as a State Juvenile Probation Officer.

I have been fortunate enough to serve as a city councilor and as the mayor several times for the town of Waverly Hall, where my wife and I reside and raised our two daughters. Currently I serve as City Attorney of Waverly Hall, it's City Solicitor for it's Municipal Court, and as City Attorney of Talbotton Georgia.

I have been honored to serve over twenty years on the board of directors of Direct Service Corporation, which provides much needed services to the elderly of our area.

I grew up in Scouting, and continued to serve in various positions and currently volunteer with Troop 47 at the U.M. Church of Waverly Hall.

All of these experiences prepared me to understand people and to be able to focus on their needs as an attorney.

I have practiced out of same location for over twenty years and have been able to help thousands of clients. Next?
